What is Activated Charcoal?

There wasn’t much hype about charcoal in cosmetics until a few years back. What was known to give us a good session of barbeque of meats with good friends, or as fuel for machineries, has now carved a niche for itself in the cosmetics industry.

Found in facewash, masks, even toothpaste, the charcoal was used in hospitals for years to treat alcohol poisoning and drug overdoses. It works by absorbing toxins in the digestive tract before they get absorbed into the blood stream.

It works in the same way as how it is on cleansers. It takes oil, dirt and even smell on your face along for a ride down to the sewer, leaving your face clean hence it doesn’t have to be aggressive on your face to make it clean.

There is a company called ThreeM, yes it sounds like the tape company but this company is founded by 3 young Japanese men who believe in charcoal, especially with cosmetics, and especially for men's skin. Below is their cleansers.

Arming with the famous Japanese white charocoal, Paulownia charcoal powder, they came up with Quick Organizer Pure Natural Soap. (above) Combined with natural ingredients such as honey for its moisturizing abilities and Kamo Tomato, a tomato from Kyoto that contains high Vitamin A, C and Potassium make great cleanser.

If you are a man, and wishes for good skin, try this. We men tend to have oily and dirty skin which makes our face full of acne. Got to make sure its clean for the lady to kiss on. \(^▽^)/
